Mission Trip - New Mexico

This was the first year we were able to go on the Mission Trip with the church.  Even though it was a lot of work, we really enjoyed it.  We worked on a house for a family on the Navajo reservation outside of Cuba, NM.

We finished a day early, so we spent the day in Santa Fe.  

We ended the trip on the Sandia Peak Tramway.

Since we really haven't taken a vacation since we've been married, I finally talked Coy into taking a cruise. 

We started out in Galveston on a cool and cloudy day….

Tried escargot and lobster at dinner….

 

Found towel animals every night….

  

    

Enjoyed a few sunsets….

 

            

Saw interesting people….

Stayed inside while it rained one day….

Relaxed while sipping fruity drinks (and coffee)….

    

Fell asleep during a show….

Visited Cozumel….

Goodbye Grad School

After 6 months of internships, I finally graduated with my Master's degree.  The past 2.5 years have flown by and I'm grateful that I was able to go back to school.  Now it's time to relax and enjoy the holidays before I start work on January 13th.

We drove to Beaumont the weekend after Thanksgiving to celebrate Maw-Maw's 80th Birthday!
