Eight Months Old

Weight:  24lb  8oz (98th percentile)

Length:   28.25 inches (71st percentile)

Head Circumference:  I didn't measure his head, but I'm sure he's still in the 99th or more percentile.

Eating: 5-6 oz every 3-4 hours; He still loves everything so far.  He usually eats a pureed fruit in the morning and a pureed veggie at lunch.  We usually give him more table food in the evenings. He's had chicken, roast, potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans.  He also gets really excited and kicks his feet and squeals when he sees his bottle.

Sleeping:  He usually goes down about 8:00/8:30 and sleeps until 6:30/7:00.  He takes a short morning nap and a longer afternoon nap at the babysitter's house.  

Diapers: size 4 

Clothes: 12-18 month clothes; 12-18 month sleepers; size 4 shoes

Likes: splashing in the bathtub, table food, balls, cars

Dislikes:  teething, laying on his back, diaper changes, cutting his fingernails

Latest Tricks:  scooting on his belly, 2 bottom teeth and 4 top teeth, clapping

 We went to Houston for Audrey's dance recital.  

 Douglas likes to eat everything so far - even prunes!
